JDP in Wednesbury is seeking a Driver/Yard Operative to deliver products to customers using a 3.5T vehicle, load/unload orders, and support busy yard operations. You’ll join a collaborative team and play a vital role in keeping deliveries efficient and accurate.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence and a clean driving record.
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Knowledge of driver regulations, driving hours and delivery procedures.
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
• A proactive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• FLT experience is desirable but not essential.

Join our Wednesbury team as a Driver/Yard Operative, where you'll be the face of JDP, delivering products to customers and helping keep our busy yard running smoothly. It's a varied, hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and teamwork. What You'll Be Doing

• Safely deliver products to customers using a 3.5T vehicle.
• Provide friendly, reliable service and ensure deliveries arrive on time.
• Load and unload vehicles and prepare customer orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised yard.
• Support stock control and day-to-day yard operations.
• Work closely with the team to keep everything running efficiently.
