Caerphilly County Borough Council offers the Connect2 service to support our transport operations. This role provides essential bus transport across the borough, requiring a flexible approach and weekend/evening availability.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with Category D Bus licence, an up-to-date CPC and prior minibuses with passengers experience. We offer pension, training opportunities and staff discounts.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of £14.59 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities. Connect2 is a service we provide to complement our existing transport services. We currently operate six local bus services within the borough in addition to three community transport services. The nature of the post requires a flexible approach to working, with a requirement to work according to the needs of the service user. This will regularly involve early mornings or late evenings and weekends for which no additional premium is paid. For the role, we ask that you have:

• A full UK driving licence with a Category D Bus licence
• An up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Previous experience of driving minibuses with passengers
