GAP Group is seeking a Driver to join our Non Mechanical and Welfare division, supplying equipment from barriers and fencing to welfare units and more. The role involves loading, delivering, collecting, demonstrations, and all hire-related checks, with potential HGV driving and towing duties as needed.

Ideal candidates will have substantial driving experience in a similar environment, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service.

We're looking for a Driver (preferably with an HGV licence and towing experience) to join our Non Mechanical and Welfare division, which supplies industry leading equipment from pedestrian and crowd control barriers, temporary security fencing, trench boxes, road plates to portable toilets, welfare units and more.

The role involves loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner, carrying out demonstrations when required, and completing all relevant checks and hire documentation. The position may also include driving HGVs and towing welfare units.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, who takes pride in driving safely, responsibly and within the law at all times.

About You

Applicants applying for the role of Driver should have/be:

• Significant experience working within a driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites is essential
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• HGV Licence preferred but not essential - Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
• Trailer towing experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided
