Qualifications

• Erfahrung in Multidrop-Lieferungen ist bevorzugt, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
• Führerschein der Kategorie C1 oder Klasse 2 erforderlich.

Responsibilities

• Lieferung von Produkten an Kunden auf Multidrop-Basis, durchschnittlich 16 bis 24 Lieferungen pro Tag.
• Führen von genauen Fahr- und Arbeitszeitaufzeichnungen.

Here at GXO, we're working together with B&Q and are looking for highly experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1) or Class 2 Drivers to join our Store to Home team in Derby (DE24 8EB).

You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an Any 5 days out of 7 pattern, contracted to 40hrs per week, with start times between 0:00 and 11:00. This role will require flexibility as you will be working on a 4 week rota pattern (provided in advance) including weekends.

  • C1 - £27,060.80
  • Class 2 - £31,886.40
• An additional £5.50 per hour when working Sunday

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Work as a part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis - an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receives the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with in a polite and courteous manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence with category C1 or Class 2 Entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute to Derby (DE24 8EB) for the required shift pattern
