Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a Driver for the Cradley Heath area in the West Midlands.

You will report to the Production Manager and support an Aerospace division, ensuring safe, high-quality testing and timely deliveries across the UK. The role requires a valid UK driving licence, willingness to obtain a Fork Lift Truck licence, and robust communication and organisational skills in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid UK driving licence and willingness to obtain a Fork Lift Truck licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-precision testing environment and meet deadlines.
• Must meet screening and security clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery to and from UK locations.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and logs kept up to date.
• Maintain vehicle documentation and maintenance records.
• Be ready to quickly attain a Fork Lift Truck licence.
• Assist with packing/unpacking and loading/unloading of work.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Driver to join our rapidly developing team in Cradley Heath, West Midlands. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, and working within our Aerospace division you will join a highly qualified and accomplished team to support an excellent level of testing while maintaining safety and quality standards at all times They will align with our core values of Integrity, Care, and Progress; and strive to achieve our purpose of "Making Tomorrow Safer than Today".

Full UK Drivers License. Mon-Thursday 8.30am-5pm and Friday 5.30am-1pm (30 mins break daily)

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery to and from various locations within the UK
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained
• Maintain logs and documents relating to vehicles and their maintenance
• Able to quickly attain a Fork Lift Truck licence
• Packing/unpacking, loading/unloading of incoming/outgoing work

Skills / Qualifications

• Working alongside qualified team members who will provide training and guidance
• Assisting with other NDT methods, process checks, and data gathering
• Valid light goods vehicle driving licence for the UK
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good organisational skills, methodical approach, able to manage deadlines
• Ability to work consistently during high pressure periods, as an individual and as part of a team
• The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance for this role and will be subject to prescreening checks before a full job offer is made, this will include UK right to work, identity confirmation, 3 year employment history check and criminal record check
