Job summary

Solus is hiring a Drive Back Driver to join our network of vehicle repair professionals. You will collect and deliver cars, ensuring timely service and accurate payment processing with customers.

The role requires a valid driving license and familiarity with the local repair centre area, supporting a smooth operational workflow in a fast-paced environment.

• You will hold a current valid driving license, which meets the fleet insurance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Drive Back Driver role with clear responsibilities for collecting cars within agreed timescales.
• Ensure the customer receives the best possible service on collection and delivery.
• Handle cash and card transactions in line with company procedures.
• Complete forms to indicate damage and capture digital photos with customer signature.
• Highlight any defects identified during loading/unloading and handover to Production Manager.
• Ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace and pressure of an accident repair environment and takes pride in organisation, accuracy and supportingmembers of the wider team.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

The future is exciting now the technologies used invehicle repairare evolving every day, which is really helping us re-shapethe vehicle repair industry.That'swhywe'reexcited to grow our teams and looking for people to join us as aDrive Back Driver-

An HGV Licence is not a requirement in thisrole,but you will need to be able and willing to drive one of our 3.5t recovery vans, which can be driven on a normal driving license.

You will have responsibility for collecting cars within the agreed timescales, ensuring that the customer receives thevery bestpossible serviceon collection and delivery of their car, ensuring all cash and credit card transactions are accounted for and that all transactions are processed following company procedures.

You will complete forms toindicateany damage on the car and specifyaccident-relateddamage and highlight any old damage, take digital photographs - and gain a signature from the customer.

You will highlight any defectsidentifiedduring loading/unloading of vehicles or asidentifiedat the handover of the vehicle to the customer and bring to the attention of the Production Manager.

You will also ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion of job.
