Job summary

Romac Logistics, Bradford, is looking for a proactive HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy, growing operation. You will trunk between depots and RDCs, operate refrigerated trailers, and ensure on-time delivery across the UK, while maintaining paperwork and logs.

The role offers full training, a supportive team, and opportunities for progression, with competitive pay and company benefits. Based in Bradford with a 4-on-4-off shift pattern and 14:00 to 16:00 starts.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Strong work ethic, timekeeping, and reliability.
• Experience with refrigerated or RDC work is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles - trunking between depots and Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
• Operate refrigerated trailers, ensuring product integrity and on-time delivery
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork and digital logs
• Comply with UK driving regulations and the Working Time Directive
• Keep your vehicle clean and presentable (some self-tipping required)
