All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

We are looking for an experienced Medium voltage Variable Speed Drive (VSD) Commissioning Engineer to work for a leading manufacturing company. Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Leader you will be a key member of the team carrying out commissioning and maintenance tasks.
Initially this role will be based at our Marine Power Test Facility at Whetstone in Leicestershire, but after approximately 18 months travel further afield may be required for durations of up to 4 weeks at a time.
Primarily responsible for the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and documenting of drive systems, safely, to defined instructions in preparation for hand-over to the test team. The role will also require ongoing maintenance of drive equipment.
