Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd seeks Drilling Groundworks Construction Operatives to join a growing team on varied site projects. You will manage rigs, plant and materials, ensure compliance with HSEQ, and support site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in groundworks or drilling, hold a CSCS card and UK driving licence, and be prepared to travel and stay away from home as required. Strong reliability and planning skills are essential.

Drilling Groundworks Operatives

This challenging and exciting opportunity requires individuals with a technical background and demonstrable hands-on experience in the construction, groundworks or drilling sectors.

Due to an increase in contract awards, a significant forward order workload, and a dedication to continued profitable, ambitious, and long-term growth, our client is now seeking to appoint a number of experienced Drilling Groundworks Construction Operatives. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of hands-on experience in the above-mentioned sectors.

The Role

• Comply to all company and site specific HSEQ policies at all times
• Responsible for rigs, plant, resources, materials other site-based works
• Attend to, and successfully carry out, all assigned duties to deliver projects safely and timely
• Work with site teams to ensure all works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards at all times
• Produce site records, such as daily logs, pre-start checks, risk assessments and site reports

The Person

• A demonstrable understanding of site-based groundworks, construction or drilling techniques, with the ability to physically use, handle and operate heavy plant and machinery
• Reading and understanding of site or project specifications and drawings
• A good understanding of applying varied techniques appropriate to different sites
• An ability to produce simple reports based on gathering technical information from site
• Organised and effective, and able to plan or schedule your own workload
• Dependable, reliable, trustworthy and honest
• Possessing a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
• Be prepared to travel and stay away from home if required
