Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a permanent Draughtsman in Buckinghamshire to produce GAs and fabrication drawings for structural steelwork projects. You will work from building plans using 2D and 3D CAD software and liaise with the fabrication team to ensure accuracy.

Start date ASAP. Salary £50,000–£60,000 per annum (DOE). The role requires experience with AutoCAD and Tekla Structures, and familiarity with UKCA marking and Building Control considerations.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD: 2 years' experience (preferred).
• Experience using Tekla Structures software.
• Trimble 3D Scanners in collaboration with Tekla software.

Responsibilities

• Produce GAs and fabrication drawings from building plans using 2D & 3D CAD software.
• Create fabrication details accurately for the fabrication shop.
• Ensure designs comply with UK regulations (UKCA marking, Building Control).
• Quantify materials required for each project.
• Liaise with fabrication team, contractors, architects and engineers on drawing queries.
