Job summary

TKAT is seeking a Teacher of Drama for a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover starting January 2027, four days a week. You will teach Drama across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and prepare students for GCSE success within a vibrant Performing Arts department.

The role welcomes both ECTs and experienced teachers, with a supportive team, ongoing CPD, and a culture that values innovation, wellbeing, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Evidence of consistently ‘good’ or better classroom teaching.
• Experience or strong enthusiasm for working with students with SEN, using creative approaches to inclusive learning.
• Supportive, team-oriented mindset with high expectations for student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Prepare students for GCSE success.
• Cover a maternity leave starting January 2027 for a 1-year fixed-term contract, four days a week.
