Drama Teacher – Lovely Secondary School - Leeds, Leeds

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department at an outstanding mixed school near Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Drama across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that inspire, challenge, and support students.
  • Use data-driven assessment methods to monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, achievement, and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and progress.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Drama Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4.
  • Holds a formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Drama.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Open to experienced teachers, ECTs, and overseas-trained teachers with QTS.
