Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in South West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 students, fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop their theatrical skills.


Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
* Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the national curriculum and promote students' artistic growth.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Organize and direct student performances, facilitating opportunities for students to showcase their talents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
* Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and creativity.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary school level, preferably within Key Stage 3.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies in Drama.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
