Job summary

Academics is seeking a Drama Teacher to lead school plays and drama activities in Cardiff. The role starts 1st September for the 2026/27 academic year and offers a straightforward registration process with guaranteed interview opportunities.

You will develop pupils' acting skills and deliver engaging feedback to enhance performances, within a supportive PAYE framework.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is required.
• Valid DBS (produced through agency) is required.
• Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) can be provided through us.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons.
• Use innovative and diverse teaching methods aligned with the national curriculum.
• Use regular assessments to monitor pupil progress and provide targets.

You will be expected to develop pupil's acting skills as well as providing stimulating and enjoyable feedback to help develop performances.
