Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a Drama Teacher for a well-regarded 11–19 secondary school with a sixth form in Norfolk. The position is temporary, ongoing and part-time, starting January 2027.

The duties include planning and delivering drama lessons, inspiring confidence and creativity, preparing students for assessments, monitoring progress, and supporting extracurricular productions. The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent and strong classroom management.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Here is a large and successful 11–19 secondary school with sixth form, part of the Inspiration Trust. Duties as Drama Teacher:
  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging Drama lessons
