GSL Education are seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students through the art of drama, helping them build confidence, creativity, and essential performance skills. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love for the performing arts, and supporting students’ personal and academic growth

Position Responsibilities:

  • Teach Drama, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire creativity and confidence in students.
  • Develop students’ performance, scriptwriting, and critical evaluation skills.
  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum.
  • Organise and support school productions, performances, and extracurricular clubs.
  • Create a positive, energetic learning environment that encourages student expression and teamwork.

Candidate Expectations:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Drama in a school setting.
  • Passionate about performing arts and student development.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire creativity and confidence in young people.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Flexible working arrangements that allow you to make a difference in various educational settings.
