Drama Teacher – Full-Time – September Start – Levenshulme, Manchester

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an inspiring and creative Drama Teacher for a full-time role at a thriving, Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Levenshulme, Manchester. This diverse and inclusive school is known for its strong arts provision and excellent reputation within the local community. The role will begin in September to cover a long-term absence, with pay in line with your scale and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  2. Plan, prepare and assess students’ work to support academic progress
  3. Encourage creativity, collaboration and self-expression through performance
  4. Organise and lead extracurricular opportunities such as drama clubs or school productions
  5. Contribute to the wider performing arts curriculum and enrichment programme
  6. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to participate

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
  2. A background in teaching Drama at secondary level
  3. Strong classroom management and communication skills
  4. Passion for the performing arts and a desire to inspire students
  5. Willingness to get involved in the wider school life and drama-related events
