Job summary

The Edwin Group is seeking a Drama Teacher to join a welcoming Bolton secondary school for Drama at KS3 on a part-time, temporary basis starting ASAP with potential to continue for the full academic year.

You will deliver engaging Drama lessons, manage classes effectively, and inspire students of all abilities, with access to well-equipped facilities and free onsite parking, supported by a collaborative department and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
• Recent experience teaching Drama to KS3.
• ECTs considered for the role.
• Interest in teaching a part-time timetable.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and ability to motivate students.

The School and the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher able to offerDrama to KS3to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Boltonon a part time, temporary cover starting ASAP with the potential of continuing for the full academic year.

You'll be teaching Drama to KS3, delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and performance skills. The school has well-motivated students, strong leadership support, and a clear commitment to professional development.

You'll be joining a dedicated and collaborative department, with access to good facilities, specialist resources, and free onsite parking.

Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)

To be considered for this Teacher of Dramarole, you must:

• Hold QTS or a PGCE (UK-recognised teaching qualification)


• Have recent experience teaching Drama to KS3


• ECTs considered


• Be interested in teaching a part time timetable


• Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities


• Have excellent communication and organisational skills


• Be able to provide suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and Right to Work in the UK
