Job description

Underground Service Engineering is based on the Isle of Wight and provides comprehensive services throughout the Isle of Wight and the South of England. Our services include Water Leak Detection, Water Pipe Renewals, Trenchless Technology (Moling), Replacement Water Mains, Duct Installation, Pipeline and Pipe Work Repairs, Drain Unblocks, Drainage Installation and Repairs, and CCTV Surveys. We are a WaterSafe Approved Contractor, committed to delivering high-quality and reliable services to our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drainage Technician located in Newport. The Drainage Technician will be responsible for tasks such as drain unblocking, drainage installation, repairs, and conducting CCTV surveys. The role also involves pipeline and pipework repairs and installation, water leak detection, and participation in trenchless technology procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design
  • Skills in Land Surveying
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
  • Previous experience in drainage and pipeline work is beneficial
