Job summary

Metro Rod Bristol is seeking a Business Development Executive to grow the drainage and plumbing services in Bristol and surrounding areas. You will work closely with our office and engineering teams to understand customer needs, explain how we can help, and move opportunities from initial contact to secured work.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage or plumbing office admin, scheduling or customer service
• Ability to understand customer needs and coordinate with engineers
• Willingness to develop sales skills and build relationships

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, facilities managers and local businesses
• Build relationships with existing customers and identify add-on service opportunities
• Discuss customer needs and arrange meetings or site visits as appropriate
• Work with operations to prepare accurate quotations and proposals
• Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed work
• Promote reactive services, planned maintenance and repair capabilities
• Keep customer records and sales activity up to date
• Aim for sales targets while delivering a professional customer experience
