Job summary

FM Conway Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated Drainage Operatives to join our Water and Drainage Management team. Working alongside an experienced HGV Driver, you’ll learn specialist skills, operate industry-leading equipment and contribute to protecting communities and keeping essential infrastructure running safely.

This role includes cyclical gully maintenance, emergency callouts and CCTV/HPWJ tasks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and commitment to health and safety.
• Practical, hands-on approach with a team mindset.
• Experience in drainage is beneficial but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support drainage maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV drainage surveys.
• Carry out drainage cleaning, investigations and planned maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and reactive drainage callouts.
• Operate GIS Trimble system in line with company procedures.
• Work safely as part of a close-knit team using specialist vehicles and equipment.
