Job summary

FM Conway is seeking a Drainage Operative to join our Water and Drainage Management team in the UK. You will work with an experienced HGV Driver, learn specialist skills, and use industry-leading equipment on planned maintenance and emergency callouts.

Great practical mindset and a full UK driving licence are valued. Training will be provided with a view to progressing through the HGV Apprenticeship Programme after probation.

Qualifications

• Possess a full UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a close-knit team.
• Drainage experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support HGV Drainage Engineers with drainage maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV drainage surveys.
• Carry out drainage cleaning, investigations and planned maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and reactive drainage callouts.
• Operate our GIS Trimble system in line with company procedures.
• Work safely as part of a close-knit team using specialist vehicles and equipment.
