Job summary

Ipsum is seeking an experienced Lining Engineer to join our Midlands team, covering the STW region. You’ll carry out patching and repair work on drainage systems using specialist equipment, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of projects.

The role involves assessing pipe conditions, producing reports, and working with clients and internal teams. You’ll be on-site, with early starts and potential weekend work, and must have relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience on a patching rig and using a lining kit.
• Confined Space and Street Works certifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence and safe driving record.
• Experience in drainage, utilities or wastewater industries.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
• Assessing pipe conditions and identifying appropriate repair solutions.
• Producing accurate and high-quality reports and records of completed works.
• Working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Carrying out routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Acting as a key point of contact on site, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
