Job summary

Ipsum is seeking an experienced Lining Engineer to join our Midlands team, delivering essential drainage rehabilitation and patching work across the STW region. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and produce high-quality reports for customers while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires on-site presence, flexibility for early starts and overtime, and a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with patching rigs and lining kits for drainage systems.
• Confined Space and Street Works certifications.
• High pressure water jetting and water hygiene training.
• Experience in drainage, utilities or wastewater sectors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lead site activities and maintain safety, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
• Assess pipe conditions and identify repair solutions.
• Produce accurate reports and records of completed works.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all works comply with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Act as key contact on site, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
