Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting a Drainage Engineer for the Southern Water contract in Tonbridge (Kent). The role involves traveling in a two-person team to deliver high-pressure water jetting and CCTV diagnostics to restore sewer networks, with focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

The permanent, full-time position operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule, average 40.25 hours, and offers overtime above base pay.

Qualifications

• Experience operating high-pressure water jet systems.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team to power water jet and suction for sewer restoration.
• Cleanse, clear and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report on specialist equipment.
• Run diagnostics and arrange repairs using CCTV equipment.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety practices on site.
• Ensure vehicles are stocked and replenished.
• Work unsupervised in all weather conditions with PPE and lone worker systems.
