Job summary

ICE Recruit seeks a Drainage Engineer to join the Cardiff office and deliver water and drainage design for civil projects in the water sector. You will work under senior engineers on potable water mains, foul drainage, SuDS and surface water systems.

3+ years in the water industry, a Civil Engineering degree (Masters preferred), and progression toward chartered status are desirable. Proactive, independent work and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the water industry with potable, surface and foul water design and/or construction.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Solve engineering problems and contribute to civil design delivery.
• Support a culture focused on customer service and quality.
• Perform 3D design/modelling using MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage.
• Navigate Water Authority approvals (S104, S106) and SuDS body involvement.
