Job summary

Drain Doctor is seeking a Drainage Engineer to diagnose and resolve drainage issues for residential and commercial clients while working on the road as part of a field-based team.

You will use CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods, and other equipment to investigate, diagnose, and fix drainage problems. A company vehicle, PPE, and training are provided to support you in this role.

Qualifications

• Drainage experience in field service
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Customer-facing experience
• Drainage tanker experience (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Emergency call-outs and planned maintenance for drainage investigations and repairs
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods etc.
• Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining and minor excavations
• Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a drainage engineer, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving drainage issues for residential and commercial clients. You’ll work with the latest equipment and technology to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Emergency call-outs and planned maintenance for drainage investigations and repairs

• Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods etc.

• Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining and minor excavations

• Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
  

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous drainage experience

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Customer-Facing Experience

• Drainage tanker experience (desirable)
  

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

• Excellent customer service and communication

• Comfortable using mobile apps and technology on-site

• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail

• Plumbing knowledge (desirable)
