Job summary

Metro Rod Cambridge & Kings Lynn is seeking a drainage technician to perform a range of services including unblocking, cleaning, high-pressure jetting and CCTV surveys. You will identify defects, carry out repairs, and complete detailed reports while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires previous drainage experience, a driving licence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. On-call rota participation is expected.

Qualifications

• Has drainage experience including jetting and CCTV work.
• Practical understanding of drainage systems and fault finding.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Takes pride in completing work to a high standard.
• Confident and professional when dealing with customers.
• Can complete accurate job reports and supporting documentation.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drainage services, including unblocking, cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform high-pressure water jetting.
• Conduct CCTV drain surveys and investigations.
• Carry out drain repairs and remedial works.
• Identify drainage defects and recommend further works.
• Complete job reports, photographs and supporting documentation.
• Provide a professional service to customers.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
