Job summary

Metro Rod LTD is seeking a Drainage Engineer to cover the Leeds area, including Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax and Wakefield. The role focuses on cleaning, clearing, repairing and maintaining drains with high-pressure jetting and CCTV surveying as core tasks.

The position involves on-site work, a 45-hour week, and an on-call rota. A full UK driving licence is required. Training is provided for the right candidate and the company offers overtime and on-call benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with high pressure water jetting and CCTV surveying beneficial but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate
• Strong problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
• Positive, flexible and can-do attitude required

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment safely and effectively
• Carry out surveys of drainage systems
• Provide high standard of customer service and technical support
• Accurately record job details in internal systems
• Be part of on-call rota to cover 24/7 service
