Job description

Role: Drainage Engineer
Location: Hounslow - Operating within West London and surrounding areas
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Standby and overtime available up to 2x Base Rate.
Schedule: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday (Day Shifts)

My client is a well-established drainage investigation and repair company with their base of operations in Hounslow. They currently have a vacancy for a senior and experienced Drainage Engineer to work independently on various schemes based on servicing customers in multiple locations in and around London. The majority of the work will be within West London and the surrounding areas for customers in the industrial industry and general building drainage duties.

In this role you will be attached to planned and scheduled work where you will need to carry out a range of drainage schemes including high-pressure jet washing, CCTV surveys and works, and basic plumbing duties.

You will work a standard 40 hour week from Monday to Friday. There is the opportunity for voluntary overtime both after hours and on the weekend at 1.5/2x pay. Please note you will not work or be expected to work any night shifts and all primary duties are carried out during the day.

You will be provided with a company van/Tanker, fuel card, PPE, survey equipment, and any other equipment needed to carry out your day-to-day duties.

In this role, you will be paid door to door and required to travel from site to site which will typically be within the local area. You will only be expected to go to the office when required for vehicle servicing, unloading, etc.

My client is looking for somebody experienced in the Drainage industry and is offering a competitive salary of around the £35,000 - £45,000 mark for the right candidate, plus overtime. Candidates will ideally be based in London or on the outskirts.
