First Military Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Drainage Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

The standard working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 16:00. There is also an opportunity to work between 17:00 – 12:00 for £18 per hour, Saturday work at £18 per hour, and Sunday work paid at £24 per hour.

This role would suit ex-military candidates, and applications from former service personnel are encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drains.
2. Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
3. Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
4. Help maintain the standard of company service vehicle and equipment.
5. Accurately record work details via internal and client systems.
6. Communicate effectively with clients and Head Office colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Ideally, you will have 2-3 years of experience in a drainage engineering role.
2. Have a positive can-do attitude.
3. Be flexible in your working hours (including out-of-hours).
4. Ideally, have relevant experience including knowledge of lining, CCTV surveys, and groundworks.
5. Hold a full UK driving licence.
6. Hold a HPJW Cert.
7. Ideally, hold a Confined Space Cert.
8. Ideally, hold an NRSW Cert.
9. Ideally, hold a CRB Disclosure Cert.
