Job summary

Qualifications

• Aerospace industry experience is required.
• Inspection experience is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform source inspection and release product shipment per customer requirements.
• Maintain safe working environment and apply 5S.
• Support continuous improvement per Eaton standards.
• Provide inspection cover in other areas as needed by business demand.
• Inspect and measure parts for conformance to drawings and PO requirements.
• Support quality investigations across departments on request.
• Possibly conduct First Article reports and monitor SPC data.
• Investigate non-conformances when required.
• Operate and coordinate measurement machines and inspect equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Maintain detailed records using Excel and Word.
• Navigate customer portals and undertake customer-specific training.
• Liaise with customers to support on-time delivery and issue resolution.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an DQR inspector at our Titchfield site. To perform source inspection and release product shipment on behalf of Customers and their requirements. 1. Maintains a safe working environment and adopts a 5S approach to working. 2. Drives and sustains and attitude to continuous improvement as defined by Eaton standards. 3. Always maintains a high standard of housekeeping as defined by the Eaton standards. 4. Provide inspection cover in other areas if business demand is necessary. 5. Inspection and measurement of parts to ensure conformance to drawing and purchase order requirements, working within the parameters as laid down in procedures and work instructions. 6. Support all departments assisting with quality related investigations upon request. 7. Ability to conduct First Article reports and monitor the production of statistical process control data - preferred. 8. Perform and assist in investigations into non-conformance if necessary. 9. Operate, co-ordinate measurement machines and/or specialized inspection equipment - preferred. 10. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. 11. Ability to keep detailed records using Microsoft software such as Excel & Word 12. Competent and willing to learn to navigate customer portals and undergo external customer specific training. 13. Willing to liaise with the customer when required, to support OTD and to deal with issues that may arise.
