Job summary

Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture is recruiting a BIM Coordinator for the HS2 Track infrastructure project. Based in London or Birmingham, you will lead CAD/BIM information management, guide project teams, and ensure information is produced, shared, and assured in line with Rail System Alliance requirements.

You will coordinate BIM Execution Plans, support ProjectWise environments, and promote information management standards across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs) in major infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency with CAD/BIM authoring tools (MicroStation, Revit, OpenRoads/OpenRail, Navisworks).
• Experience managing and validating asset data using AIMS and IFC validation processes.
• Working knowledge of data transformation, QA, and analysis tools (FME, Power BI).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information and resolving conflicts in Navisworks Manager or similar tools.
• Understanding BIM standards, digital engineering workflows, and information management best practices.
• Strong BIM coordination and information management experience on complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for CAD and BIM information management, providing guidance and training to project teams and partners.
• Ensure digital information is produced, shared, published, and assured per Rail System Alliance, HS2 and project information requirements.
• Coordinate Contractor BIM Execution Plans to align with project objectives.
• Support Information Manager and ProjectWise Manager with data structures, workflows, and CDE administration.
• Develop and promote information management standards, templates, and structured data requirements.
• Carry out QA checks on CAD/BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor information issues and work with teams to resolve data quality concerns.
• Oversee supply chain information outputs, ensuring adherence to procedures and templates.
• Assist with information sharing across Rail System Contracts and manage escalations and workshops.
• Coordinate testing of new digital tools, CAD applications, and processes.
• Assist rollout of new technologies to improve efficiency and information quality.
• Provide reliable management of CAD data, CDE configurations, and ProjectWise environments.

• Monitor information issues and non-conformances, working with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve data quality or compliance concerns.
• Oversee supply chain information outputs, ensuring contractors and external partners follow agreed procedures, templates, and workflows.
• Support information sharing across Rail System Contracts, including acting as a point of contact, helping with escalations, organising workshops, tracking progress, and reporting updates.
• Coordinate and support testing activities for new digital tools, CAD applications, software updates, and information management processes.
• Assist with the implementation and rollout of new technologies, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and information quality.
• Provide accurate and reliable management of CAD data, CDE configurations, and ProjectWise environments.
