GE Aerospace invites you to join a three-year Advanced Manufacturing Apprentice programme. You will study full-time in year one at GET Gloucestershire Engineering Training, then blend college with workplace activity in year two, and work full-time in year three while completing your End Point Assessment.
You’ll earn a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician qualification and gain hands-on experience manufacturing aircraft propellers.
As an Advanced Manufacturing Apprentice you will work within multiple engineering disciplines, putting propeller design ideas into manufacture. Your new skills will enable you to manufacture propellers for large aircraft, including the C130J Hercules. You will study full time for the first year at GET – Gloucestershire Engineering Training. Participants graduate with a Level 3 Certificate recognised by relevant Professional Engineering Institutions at the appropriate level of professional registration (EngTech).
In addition to technical development, we are also committed to supporting your broader personal development. Throughout your time on the course, you will be given the opportunity to participate in projects and training outside of your apprenticeships with the aim of enhancing both your interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
You will be supported by your line manager, plus placement managers, mentors, and the wider apprentice network, to ensure you are meeting the requirements of your course and getting the most out of your apprenticeship.
Please ensure you have achieved or are predicted these grades or above as these are the minimum requirements to join this apprenticeship. Failure to meet these grades could mean you are not eligible to join the programme.
