Job summary

A leading global insurance company seeks two risk engineers to join their team following recent retirements. Qualifications

• MEng in a relevant engineering discipline required.

Job Description:

Our client is a global insurance company that recently had 2 retirees, and therefore we are looking for 2 risk engineers to start as soon as possible.

Requirements

• MEng in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Experience in oil and gas exploration and production, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing operations, or in risk consulting.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to work autonomously, curiosity, motivation, and good relationship skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk engineering surveys and provide risk improvement recommendations.
• Engage in continuous learning about new technologies like carbon capture, renewable hydrogen, and geothermal projects.

Position is remote if based in the UK, with travel required.
