Job Description:

Our client is a global insurance company that recently has 2 retirees, and therefore we are looking for 2 Risk Engineers to start as soon as possible.

Requirements

• MEng in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Experience in oil and gas exploration and production, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing operations, process safety, reliability, maintenance, inspection, or risk consulting.
• Forward-thinking, agile, with problem-solving skills in risk management.
• Ability to work autonomously, curious, motivated, good relationship skills, and a team player.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend risk engineering surveys and provide risk improvement recommendations to help clients manage risks effectively.
• Continuously learn about new technologies such as carbon capture, renewable hydrogen, and geothermal projects to support the engineering team.

Position is remote if based in the UK, with travel required.
