Job summary

Door Systems Service Engineer is sought to join a specialist door industry company covering Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. The role is full-time and field-based, mainly servicing and maintaining industrial and commercial door systems in Cold Rooms, Clean Rooms, loading bays and dock systems.

You will carry out fault-finding, repairs, and routine servicing with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working with High-Speed / Fast Action Doors.
• Experience in the industrial/commercial door industry.
• Confident fault-finding and repairs.
• Comfortable working independently across a regional area.
• Customer-focused and professional.
• In possession of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out small works, servicing, repairs, fault-finding and maintenance on industrial and commercial door systems.
• Work on High-Speed / Fast Action Doors, Roller Shutters, Fire-Rated Doors, Sectional Doors and Dock Systems.

Job description

Door Systems Service Engineer- Luton- £18.00 - £21.00 per hour

• £18.00-£21.00 per hour
• 45 hour working week guaranteed
• Door to door travel paid
• Overtime paid after 45 hours 1.5x / 2x depending on the time of the week

Door Systems Service Engineer Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Systems Service Engineer to join an established and specialist company within the door industry.

This is a full time, permanent, field based position, covering a regional area. The majority of your work will be within Cold Rooms & Clean Rooms (80% of the time) as well as large Commercial/ Industrial Sites (20% of the time).

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out small works, servicing, repairs, fault-finding and maintenance on a variety of industrial and commercial door systems, including:

• High-Speed / Fast Action Doors
• Roller Shutters
• Fire-Rated Doors
• Sectional Doors
• Loading Bay Equipment
• Dock Systems

Door Systems Service Engineer Skills and Experience Required

To be considered, you must have previous experience working with High-Speed / Fast Action Doors.
