Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead Door Engineer to install commercial doors from new builds to retrofits across UK sites. You will adapt drawings, manage schedules, and keep projects on time and within budget.

The role offers Monday–Friday work with nights away, overtime opportunities, a company van, and comprehensive training as part of a growing, family‑owned business.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK Driving License.
• CSCS Card required.
• Familiar with PDA devices.
• Experience within the door industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors, from new builds to retrofits in existing buildings.
• Adapt engineering drawings as required.
• Ensure project timelines are met within budget.
• Monday - Friday 8:30am–5pm with travel and nights away.

Home based role with nights away ideally located North Greater London, Northampton, Wellingborough, Milton Keynes, Luton, Huntingdon

This role would suit a Door engineer from an industrial, automatic, roller shutter or similar door background, looking for plenty of overtime, additional earnings with nights away and training.
