Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Door Systems Service Engineer for a full-time, permanent field-based role covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas. The majority of work will be in Cold Rooms & Clean Rooms (80%) with some visits to large Commercial/Industrial sites (20%).

You will service, fault-find and maintain High-Speed / Fast Action Doors and related systems, working independently with a UK driving licence and company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with High-Speed / Fast Action Doors.
• Experience in industrial/commercial door industry.
• Able to fault-find and repair on-site.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on door systems, including High-Speed / Fast Action Doors, Roller Shutters, Fire-Rated Doors, Sectional Doors, Loading Bay Equipment and Dock Systems.
• Work independently across a regional West Midlands area, day-to-day duties in Cold Rooms & Clean Rooms (80%) and Commercial/Industrial Sites (20%).

Door Systems Service Engineer- West Midlands- £18.00 - £21.00 per hour

• £18.00–£21.00 per hour
• 45 hour working week guaranteed
• Door to door travel paid
• Overtime paid after 45 hours 1.5x / 2x depending on the time of the week

Door Systems Service Engineer Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Systems Service Engineer to join an established and specialist company within the door industry.

This is a full time, permanent, field based position, covering a regional area. The majority of your work will be within Cold Rooms & Clean Rooms (80% of the time) as well as large Commercial/ Industrial Sites (20% of the time).

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out small works, servicing, repairs, fault-finding and maintenance on a variety of industrial and commercial door systems, including:

• High-Speed / Fast Action Doors
• Roller Shutters
• Fire-Rated Doors
• Sectional Doors
• Loading Bay Equipment
• Dock Systems

Door Systems Service Engineer Skills and Experience Required:

To be considered, you must have previous experience working with High-Speed / Fast Action Doors.
