Job summary

MetroGuard Oxford ltd is seeking experienced Door Supervisors for full-time and part-time roles in the London area. The primary duty is to ensure the safety and security of clients and staff at venues such as bars, restaurants, and hotels.

You will screen entrants, prevent access to underage or dangerous individuals, and manage crowds while delivering professional customer service. Candidates must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, display excellent communication, and be reliable team

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Able to work as part of a team and stay calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Stationed at the entrance screening visitors for suitability.
• Check age and presence of prohibited items.
• Control entry and exit routes and manage crowd safety.
• Conduct ID checks and monitor visitors' behaviour.
• Provide general security and customer service to guests.

Job Purpose

The primary role of a Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees.

Job Overview

As a Door Supervisor, you will ensure the safety of staff and customers, as well as protect assets within the clients' business and provide excellent customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be stationed at the building's entrance, screening visitors for suitability.
• Ensure the visitor is not under the age of 18 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons
• Controlling entry and exit route
• Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue
• Crowd control
• Supervising customer arrivals
• Carrying out ID checks
• Screening and searching for individuals

Requirements

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Licence
• Have excellent communication skills and be customer service focused
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be reliable and confident
• Ability to tackle emergency situationsAbility to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
