Job summary

ABM is seeking a dedicated door supervisor at Walkergate Shopping Centre to join our security team. The role involves guarding premises, assisting visitors, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment across shifts, including weekends.

You will patrol venues, respond to incidents, and work closely with the Control Room to ensure continuous, high-quality customer service and compliance with site policies. Previous door supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering frontline customer service in a security or hospitality setting.
• Ability to patrol venues proactively and maintain vigilant standards.
• Competence in logging incidents and following site policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors/tenants to provide first-class customer service.
• Carry out regular patrols as per site instructions and stay proactive.
• Assist visitors at bars and restaurants where opportunities arise.
• Safeguard venues and car parking areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Ensure incidents are managed per site procedures and brief Control Room.

PAY RATE: Competitive

Thisimportant roleis the public face of theDoor Supervisory Team.A can-do and professional attitude is essentialinthishighlyinfluentialrole.Youalsoneedto ensureexemplarystandardsofSecurityand Customer Service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Readilyinteractwithallvisitors/tenantswithintheVenues,deliveringfirstclass customer focused service
• CarryoutregularpatrolsoftheVenuesasdetailedinthesite assignmentInstructions, being always proactive
• ContinuouslylookforopportunitiestobeofassistancetovisitorsattheBars andRestauraunts, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise
• Safeguardallthevenues and Carparking areasaresafeandnon-threateningenvironmentforallvisitors/tenants.
• Ensuringallincidentsaremanagedinaccordancewithsitepoliciesandprocedure
• Liaisingwithsitecontrolroomproactivelyreactingtoincidentsandensuringcolleaguesarefully briefed and always supported
• EnsureanyunsecureareasofthesitearereportedtoControlRoomimmediatelyandaction taken to resolve
• Record/logallnon-conformancesandemergencieswiththeappropriatecontrolroomoperatives
• DealefficientlyandeffectivelywithallemergenciesensuringtheCentreteamarekeptfully always informed
• Intelligentunderstanding ofhumanbehaviour,monitoringandsurveillanceofsuspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company polices
• Maintainvigilanceandhighlight/manageunauthorisedaccessbybannedindividuals
• Ensureradioproceduresarealwaysadheredto
• Ensureallevents/incidentsarercordedintheStaffnotebookcorrectlyandnotebook policies are always adhered to
• Undertakeanyotherreasonabledutiesasrequiredtomeettheneedsofthebusiness.

• PreviousDoor Supervisory Experience preferred.
