Job summary

Get Staff is looking for an experienced Door Entry & Access Control Service Engineer to join a permanent, full-time team working across social housing and commercial environments. The role offers a competitive salary of £32,000–£38,000 per year, a company vehicle, and long-term career stability.

The ideal candidate will own their work from diagnosis to completion, be organised and customer-focused, and willing to handle reactive work and out-of-hours requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with door entry and access control systems.
• Experience across installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on door entry and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs, keeping systems safe and operational.
• Manage daily workloads, timesheets and service documentation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Provide professional, flexible, customer-focused service across sites.
• Participate in overtime and on-call rota when required.
