NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Donor Care Supervisor to supervise Donor Carer staff, assist the Sister/Charge Nurse, and ensure smooth, patient-centered blood donation sessions. The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and high-quality donor experience.

You will receive intensive Donor Care training and opportunities to grow into wider leadership duties across shifts, supporting a positive donor experience and continued service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with the public and delivering quality customer care
• Ability to demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills in a similar role or healthcare setting
• Experience handling confidential matters and providing quality donor/patient care
• Experience with IT tools such as digital hand-held devices and MS Office

Responsabilités

• Supervise Donor Carer staff and assist the Sister/Charge Nurse
• Manage on-session activities and oversee vehicle loading/unloading
• Handle administration and paperwork to support the team
