North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Domiciliary Phlebotomy Service for North Tees. The role requires venipuncture of community patients, strong communication, and IT literacy to input data into electronic systems.

The successful candidate will work on a 37.5 hour per week contract with a five-day shift rota, and must have access to a vehicle for community visits. DBS checks are part of pre-employment screening and eligibility rules apply.

Qualificações

• Ability to obtain venous samples.
• IT literate and able to input data.
• Experience in clinical practice obtaining venous blood samples.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out venepuncture requests for community patients.
• Work independently within the domiciliary service.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication.
• Input clinical data using electronic systems; familiarity with SystmOne is an advantage.
• Rostered shifts across five days; ability to access locations quickly.
