Job summary

Nurse Seekers is seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes around Teignbridge and surrounding areas. The role requires compassion, reliability and excellent communication to support daily living tasks and wellbeing.

You will work to care plans, assist with daily activities, and contribute to a supportive community-based service with full training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Access to own vehicle.
• Care experience is desirable but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Assist with medication where required.
• Prepare meals and help with household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help clients maintain independence.

Domiciliary Care Worker

Location: Teignbridge & surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Driving: Full UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle required

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established care provider for Domiciliary Care Workers to support individuals in their own homes across the local area.

The Role

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with personal care and daily routines


• Assisting with medication where required


• Preparing meals and supporting with household tasks


• Providing companionship and emotional support


• Supporting individuals to maintain their independence


• Assisting clients with dementia and other care needs


• Following individual care plans


• Maintaining accurate care records


• Reporting any concerns regarding a client's health or wellbeing
