Job summary

Fame 24hour Care is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care operations in Ipswich and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering safe, person-centred care while ensuring CQC compliance and continuous service improvements.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, staff supervision, and rigorous care planning, with a drive for quality and stakeholder collaboration. A driving licence is preferred and there is a strong, supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager experience in domiciliary care (min 2 years).
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance, prepare for inspections, and uphold all statutory requirements.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and support care staff, promoting a positive and professional culture.
• Ensure robust care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding measures are in place and regularly reviewed.
• Support growth of the service, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Monitor performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements where required.
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, and external professionals.
