Care By Us Limited in East Hertfordshire is seeking a domiciliary care assistant to support people to stay independent in their own homes. You will work with a close-knit local team across Birchanger and Bishops Stortford and surrounding villages.

No prior social care experience is required as full, paid training is provided. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, with shifts seven days a week and flexible patterns.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming.
• Assisting with medication – preparation and administration.
• Helping with mobility – using aids/equipment safely.
• Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support.
• Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning.
• Offering companionship and reassurance – building relationships.
• Encourage social engagement and family connections.
• Monitor health and report changes to healthcare professionals and family.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team.
