Unique Home Care NI LTD is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant for East Belfast, day shift from 8am to 8pm. The role involves delivering personal care in clients’ homes, performing housekeeping tasks, and supporting daily living needs within care plans.

A full driving licence and NISCC registration (or willingness to apply) are essential. Applicants should be capable of working to a care plan, communicating with clients and families, and maintaining accurate records.

Formación

• Full driving licence and use of car for work.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
• Ability to record and report accurate, legible and complete information.
• NISCC registration or willingness to apply on appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Improve quality of life with tasks such as housekeeping and shopping.
• Deliver personal care.
• Administer medication.
• To monitor the safety and wellbeing of the person.
• To build positive relationships with the person and their families.
• Use personal care plans to deliver a person centred service.
• To be responsible for adult support and protection.
• To monitor the person’s care needs, and report any required changes for the care plan.
• To maintain good quality records and notes.
• To ensure equipment is being used effectively.
• To work in partnership with colleagues within the organisation.
