Job summary

Bupa’s Richmond Witney Village in Witney, Oxfordshire, seeks a Domiciliary Care Assistant to support residents in our on-site serviced apartments. The role offers varied shifts (early, late, 12-hour options) with no travel, and full induction and training to help you settle in.

You’ll assist with personal care, mealtimes and activities, work with healthcare professionals, and ensure residents' safety and wellbeing while upholding Bupa's values. DBS checks and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Ideally you’ll have experience in a care/dementia setting or a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent); full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Job Description: Domiciliary Care Assistant - Bank Richmond Village Witney, Coral Springs Way, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 5DG Salary: £13.20 per hour Shifts: 7am - 1pm or 1pm - 7pm (6hrs shift) 7am - 7pm (12 hr shift)

We are looking for Domiciliary Care Assistant’s to join our team at Richmond Village Add Village Location. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide care and support to our residents who live in our serviced apartments on site. So the great news is there is no travel as all your residents are in one place. We can offer full and part time opportunities and a range of shifts (insert shift times) As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll help residents to truly get the most out of life and in return we’ll support you to get the most out of your career. What the role entails:

• Assisting residents with personal care duties
• Supporting at mealtimes where appropriate
• Helping to promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests or activities within the village
• Answering emergency calls on site when care alert system is activated
• Working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists where appropriate

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a care/dementia setting or you may have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), however, this isn’t essential as full training will be provided.
