Job summary

Codi Domestic Services in Pontypridd, Aberdare and Porth is hiring a Relief Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for tenants. You’ll work with the Service Manager and residents to provide a welcoming, respectful service and a smile that makes people feel at home.

The role suits someone with good attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Great communicator – work closely with the Service Manager and tenants, being friendly and approachable.
• Team player – positive, supportive and inclusive attitude toward colleagues and tenants.
• Attention to detail – follow COSHH policy and use approved cleaning products for each task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for tenants across Pontypridd, Aberdare and Porth.
• Assist with daily housekeeping tasks and ensure spaces are well-kept and welcoming.

We're looking for passionate and reliable individuals to join our Domestic team who maintain a clean and safe environment for our valued tenants across our CODI EXTRA CARE SERVICES in Pontypridd, Aberdare and Porth. As a DOMESTIC ASSISTANT (Relief) you will play a key role in the team, offering a genuine smile and great impression to all our residents and visitors. Skills and Experience Needed

• Great communicator - You'll work closely with the Service Manager and tenants, being friendly and approachable is a must!
• Team player - Positive, supportive, and inclusive attitude towards colleagues and tenants.
• Attention to detail - Store and use cleaning materials in line with the Home's COSHH policy, using only approved cleaning products for each task.
• Organisational Skills - Clean and maintain all rooms and shared spaces across the building efficiently.
• Independent & Customer-Focused - Ability to work independently without supervision, using initiative to complete tasks efficiently while being committed to providing a high-quality service.
